Dinosaurs

Some dinosaurs were the most massive animals to ever live on land. Earth’s orbit has remained sufficiently constant that its oceans have never frozen or boiled, but this does not mean Earth’s orbit has never changed.

In the age of dinosaurs, earth followed an orbit that was probably closer to the sun. Its atmosphere was denser back then, so Pterodactyls could have been good flyers in the denser air. Whenever worlds come together, their atmospheres are always affected. see chapters on Mars and the Martian Flood.
